Dr. Avinash Ramchandani is a native Californian and is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Management. He earned his bachelors degree in Biochemistry from UC Berkeley, and then received his medical doctorate from Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago. He did his residency at Stanford Hospital and fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. After finishing fellowship he went back to school and obtained his Masters in Business Administration from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He has been practicing in Texas in rehabilitation medicine and pain management for 7 years prior to coming back to California. Dr. Ramchandani incorporates pain procedures, nutrition, exercises, and medications to customize treatment options for patients in pain. He enjoys being on the cutting edge of proven treatments for pain management. Dr. Ramchandani believes in optimizing the functional being so that pain is controlled and people are living with their highest dignity.
Dr. Ramchandani is married and has two young children who he enjoys spending time with. Dr. Ramchandani is an avid baseball and football fan and loves the San Francisco Giants and 49ers. He has an interest in writing and is published in several journals and national and international periodicals. He also enjoys running, golf and swimming, and enjoys working on computers and cars. He also has a private pilot’s license and enjoys flying Cessna aircraft.
